We understand that preserving the interior of your yacht is crucial to maintain its value and beauty for many years to come. We specialize in many different techniques that will hide imperfections and create a uniform result, giving your boat a brand new look. Having to deal with replacing wood furniture, cabinets, walls or anything inside of a boat can be extremely costly and time consuming to replace, especially because most pieces are custom built and difficult to replicate. That’s why the majority of the work we do involves delicate and detailed hand repairing in lieu of replacement.

Our work and reputation stands out from the rest because we have self taught techniques that come from over 30 years experience in working with wood. We treat each piece like a work of art, using many different materials, colors, tools and so on. Our toolkit consists of a variety of mediums, both water based and oil based paints, an extensive set of paint materials and artist brushes, different types of fillers and specialty glues and many more. We also have a background in art & illustration so we can replicate all kinds of color tones and designs as needed.

Wood Touch Ups: Even the smallest dents and scratches can stand out and distract the eye from a beautiful piece of furniture or wood. We do all kinds of touch ups and can match any finish, color or texture to blend in with its surroundings. Our technique involves a multistep process that includes evening out uneven surfaces, mimicking texture, faux painting to hide the area and then finally sealing the area.

Water Damage repair: Water damage is common when it comes to temperature changes out at sea. Changes in temperature from hot to cold tend to trap moisture in wood, oftentimes creating either a milky look or a darkened wood appearance. When it comes to water damaged areas we can mask the appearance of discoloration by using one of many techniques such as faux painting over the affected area and sealing it to ensure longevity.

High Gloss Finishes: High gloss furniture pieces need periodical maintenance in order to keep its original look. Things like minor scratches, dents, knicks or loss of shine can be filled and buffed out to restore the piece to its original glossy finish. Most of the time this can be done inside the boat without having to remove the piece.

Tabletop and Floor Refinishing: Foot traffic and regular dining inside a boat causes normal wear and tear on wood. We can restore the original wood to look brand new again, done all by hand. The techniques we use have minimal odor and mess, and you won’t have to do a full replacement which will save you time and money, not to mention the hassle.

Non-wood Surfaces: Got a non-wood finish to repair? We also specialize in airbrushing to fix minor dents and scratches. We do a step by step technique that involves using airbrushes and custom color matching. We also repair minor scratches on gold/silver pieces like art, statues, lamps etc.

Wood Staining: We can stain bare wood to any color you desire to match surrounding areas.

Wood Faux Finishing: For most projects, in order to hide the damage and blend it in with the surrounding area we must faux paint wood grains using fine paint brushes and color palettes to mimic the look. To the untrained eye, the result will be very hard to point out. You will be astonished!
